FOUR WEEKS ON...

Dear friends
thank you so much
for your caring comments
emails, cards and gifts.

You're such a thoughtful lot
I'm over-whelmed.

It has been so nice to find
new friends leaving kind notes
and becoming followers too.

I'm so lucky having lovely
blog friends like you !

A very big special thank you
to two of my kiwi blogging friends
Carole of

and
Carolyn of

who came to my rescue
and so kindly did posts for me,
you're both darlings
THANK YOU!!

A very big thank you to
my dear embroidery friend
Jane
who arrived
the day after my accident
with the wonderful
basket of Spring flowers
she planted up herself
don't you all just love it?

Attached to the handle
was a beautiful big blue ribbon
and the sweet
"Paris flower shoppe" card.

Jane knows what I love!

I took this weird photo
as evidence that I did
do 'this' post myself!!!

Thank you my dear friends for visiting my blog.
I appreciate all your comments and
I will enjoy visiting your blogs again very soon.
Be kind to one another
Shane

Flowers for Friday

Dear Friends,

Today Shane has asked me to write a post for her.
As you may know unfortunately she tripped and fell and broke her wrist and sprained the other.
I am so sorry Shane and do hope that you are feeling better and you heal soon so you can make a good recovery and get back to doing the things you enjoy.

Rather than the white, ugly heavy plaster, Shane was sporting she said how she would much rather have a Chanel cast, maybe in pale pink with the logo in grey.
Shane wrote in an email, " I found this Chanel logo to be put on my new plaster cast "  and said what did I think? ... I am sure this will look chic and make you feel better.

The white camellia was the favourite flower of Coco Chanel and indeed one of her signature symbols.
I have two camellia bushes in my garden and they are flowering now.

"How many cares one loses, when one decides not to be something, but to be someone"
~Coco Chanel

I wish you all a happy and relaxing weekend, doing what you enjoy most
Hugs Carolyn

A terrible Monday and an awful accident

Dear friends,

Shane has asked that I do a blog post for her. On Monday of this week she had an awful accident, she tripped while outside and as a result broke one wrist and sprained the other.

As you can see, she will be out of action for some time while she heals, poor thing!
Shane, I hope that you heal quickly so that you can get back to your gardening and your stitching.
I am sure we will all miss you in blogland while you are recovering!

Sending you loads of get well hugs,

Carole
